調べでは、伊良部容疑者は同日午前５時３０分ごろ、大阪市北区堂山町の飲食店で、飲食料金をクレジットカードで支払おうとした際、このカードが提携外で断られたことに腹を立て、対応した男性店長（２２）の髪や胸ぐらをつかみ、壁に押しつけるなどの暴行をした疑い。
